🧭 How It Works And Helps Find Your Pet

It uses Apple Find My app (iPhone) or Google Find Hub app (Android) to locate and show the area of your pet on the map in the app. To Find Them activate the directions navigation in the app after the Location has updated or the last updated location, follow the location shown on the map in the app using the Find My or Find Hub Navigation System until it indicates you’ve arrived at your pets location, then activate the built-in sound alert to lead you directly to your pet’s exact location.

 

📶 Bluetooth Setup

Bluetooth is only required during the initial setup process to register and connect your finder to your Apple Find My or Google Find Hub account. Once setup is complete, the finder can be located through the network without needing to stay connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

 

 
🔍 How the Finder Updates to Locate Your Pet

The Finder’s location will update in the Apple Find My app or Google Find Hub app whenever it comes within range of any nearby iPhone or if you have an Android, Android device. This allows you to see the location area of your pet on the map in the app if they ever go missing or still just around nearby, when it’s detected and updates in the app.

For example, if your pets at home, the finder in the app will show your pets location at home, if they down the street it will update and show where they located down the street, or if they somewhere in the neighbourhood because of exploring further than expected it will update and show where they currently are.

Their location is updated on the app when another compatible Apple or Android device detects the Finder and securely reports its location to the network.

For added peace of mind, we recommend enabling the “Notify When Found” feature in the app. If your pet’s location has not updated recently, you’ll receive a notification as soon as the Finder is detected by another compatible device and its location becomes available. For example if you away from home and try view your pets location and see it says not updated for a few minutes or however long you been gone, it just means your pet is still in the area around home and hasn’t wandered off because your device was the compatible device picking the finder up at home, if they have wandered off another compatible device in the area will pick up the finder where they are and update their location.

Therefore wherever the last updated location is detected you activate the Find My or Find Hub Direction Navigation System to in the app and search for your pet. 

If your pet is missing you’ll always be able to take the various steps explained above to go about detecting and finding the exact location of your pet if their location has updated or not, you first activating the direction navigation system in the app to the location that’s shown, following the directions and then the activating the sound alert feature when arrived and nearby.
